Mavericks, Inc., the developer of the AI video generation service NoLang and other advanced AI products, has obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS), through GCERTI.
Background of the certification
Since its release in July 2024, NoLang has grown past 150,000 registered users and more than 60 corporate customers, and it is now embedded in the daily work of many companies and individuals, from summarizing news articles as video to turning internal training materials into video. Because Mavericks, Inc. handles business information and content data for corporate customers and many other users every day, strengthening its information security posture had become one of the company’s highest management priorities.
As cyberattacks grow more advanced and more sophisticated, Mavericks, Inc. concluded that technical countermeasures alone were not enough, and that establishing a management system based on an international standard is what truly demonstrates reliability to customers. That is why the company pursued ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
What ISMS means
An ISMS is a management system for properly maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information assets an organization holds. ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard for such a system, and certification by a third-party body, following a rigorous audit, confirms that an organization’s information security management meets international criteria. With this certification, the information security practices of Mavericks, Inc. have been recognized as meeting an international standard.
