ChatGPT is a very capable general-purpose AI, and customizing it for a specific purpose makes it more useful still. Until recently, however, customizing ChatGPT was difficult and required advanced programming knowledge.
With “GPTs” from OpenAI, anyone can customize ChatGPT in natural language. These custom chatbots are built by millions of users worldwide and range from practical tools that write Excel formulas and macros to inventive ones such as an escape game played through dialogue. GPTs can be shared, so anyone can try a GPT another user has built.

Yet there is still no official platform for browsing a list of GPTs, which makes it very hard to find out what GPTs exist.

In response, Mavericks, Inc. added a GPTs listing feature to “sayhi2.ai,” Japan’s largest†1 AI tool database. More than 18,000 GPTs are listed, and the search function lets users find the ones that match their needs.
Many GPTs are created by users outside Japan and answer in English, but “sayhi2.ai” also allows searches limited to Japanese GPTs.
After selecting a GPT to look at in detail, users can jump to that GPT’s page in one click and start a conversation with the chatbot.†2
Each listing also shows prompt starters (suggested opening questions) and the extensions the GPT uses (image generation, Python code execution, web search), so users can picture how it works and judge what skills it has.
