Mavericks, Inc., the company behind the Japanese AI video generation service NoLang, is expanding a solution that accelerates internal communication DX for HR and general affairs departments. The solution takes internal documents of any kind — meeting minutes, company newsletters, operational manuals — and generates a video in which an avatar explains the content, after AI instantly analyzes and summarizes a PDF or text file that the user simply uploads. It addresses the familiar problem that written information goes unread and fails to land, cuts the time employees spend gathering information, and turns internal knowledge into video so that engagement across the organization can be maximized.
Turning every internal document into video, and into a shared company asset
NoLang is the first AI video generation service in Japan (according to Mavericks research) that can produce a video in as little as a few seconds from text, PDF and PPTX documents, a website URL, or even image, audio and video files. Since its release in July 2024, registered users have passed 150,000, and it is now used by more than 60 corporate customers. Among AI products developed in Japan, it is one of the largest of its kind (as of December 2025). With NoLang, teams can upload any PDF or PPTX file as it is — not only the manuals used in each business process, but also the meeting minutes and reports produced across the company every day — or simply paste the content of a document into a prompt. The AI then analyzes and summarizes it and handles everything from writing the script structure to generating the finished video.
Videos can feature a realistic AI avatar modeled on an employee or a company mascot character, and the content is conveyed clearly through well-matched subtitles, background music, and voice narration. Length is flexible, from a short video of a few seconds to a long one running several dozen minutes. Beyond making one department’s own communication more efficient, the solution works as a hub that drives video adoption across the whole company. That allows an organization to cut the invisible costs that have become normal in text-centered communication: information that never arrives because long emails go unread, and repeated inquiries caused by misaligned understanding.
Use case 1: Video summaries of meeting minutes — catching up on a one-hour meeting in three minutes
Text-only minutes from weekly team meetings or executive meetings take time to digest, and in most cases they end up being skimmed. With NoLang, entering the transcript or the meeting notes is enough to automatically generate a digest video that extracts only the decisions and the important topics.
For example, sharing a video such as “Highlights of this week’s sales meeting” lets sales representatives on the move and colleagues in other departments grasp the key points reliably from a smartphone in just a few minutes. The energy and nuance of a discussion, which is hard to convey in text, is filled in by the avatar’s delivery and the background music, raising the resolution of the information.
Videos can also be consumed as audio alone, so the summarized minutes can be listened to in the background while walking or working on something else, when looking at a screen is not possible. That is another way productivity improves.
Use case 2: Video newsletters — delivering messages from the president and new employee introductions to more of the workforce
“The open rate of important messages sent by company-wide email is low.” “Messages from management and the company’s business strategy do not take hold on the ground.” NoLang addresses these concerns as well. Text information that tends to feel impersonal is read aloud by an AI avatar acting as an in-house news anchor — chosen from a lineup of more than 100, or created in-house — which turns the newsletter into something closer to a television news program.
In a monthly performance report, for instance, the avatar can explain the month’s results clearly while charts and figures are displayed in the background, sharing achievements intuitively in a way that a list of numbers cannot. For new employee introductions, importing the person’s profile photo and having the avatar speak on their behalf about hobbies and aspirations produces approachable content that draws the interest of colleagues.
Once the first video is finished, the same settings can be reused, and only the text or documents fed in need to change to match the month. The person in charge simply swaps out the script each month, and can keep publishing engaging content that employees want to watch again next month, without added workload.
Use case 3: Policy revisions and compliance announcements — sharply reducing internal questions about year-end tax adjustment and security training
One of the heaviest burdens for a general affairs department is responding to employee questions about system changes and procedures. Topics such as how to fill in year-end tax adjustment forms or how to operate a new system are prime examples: manuals are distributed but not read, and similar questions pour in. With NoLang, feeding in a complex operating manual as a PDF is enough to create an explanatory video that visually guides viewers through what to enter and where. Preparing a short video of about one minute for each topic — how to change a password, points to watch when filing expenses — and posting them on the internal portal lets employees resolve issues on their own. This significantly reduces the hours general affairs staff spend handling inquiries, and can also be expected to prevent incomplete paperwork and application errors before they happen.

Mavericks, Inc. sees a future in which the information held in a company’s text and documents shifts from something to be read to something to be watched as video. The company will strengthen API integration with internal portal sites and expand features for organizations with demanding security requirements, developing NoLang into essential infrastructure for corporate knowledge sharing and communication. Through this work, Mavericks aims to contribute to higher productivity in the back-office operations of Japanese companies and to more active organizations.
