Mavericks, Inc., the Japanese company behind the AI video generation service NoLang and its more than 150,000 registered users, has launched a new partnership program for IP owners and businesses that want to use character avatars in video. Under the program, IP owners can bring the characters they own onto the NoLang platform as animated AI avatars and monetize them, while companies can turn their own still-image IP (PSD, Live2D and similar formats) into video right away, or publish videos using the avatars already available in NoLang.

NoLang is the first service in Japan that generates a video in as little as a few seconds from whatever material you give it: text, PDF or PPTX documents, a website URL, and also image, audio and video files. Since its release in July 2024, registered users have passed 150,000, and more than 60 companies have adopted it, with many Japanese businesses using it in day-to-day work (as of November 2025). Videos produced with it range from product introductions and PR clips for trade shows to short social videos, narrated explanations of presentation decks, operating manuals and earnings briefings, covering a wide range of industries and business situations. The new program uses NoLang as a hub that connects businesses that own characters (IP) with companies that want to use video. For IP owners, making a character available on NoLang opens a new outlet for that IP and a way to earn revenue from it. For companies, the program supplies appealing avatars and video production tools that strengthen their branding, so both sides gain from the ecosystem. Mavericks also helps companies develop avatars that give AI-generated movement and voice to a still-image character they already own. That automates character video production, which used to be difficult in terms of both cost and effort, and makes PR and communications work more effective.
For IP owners and creators: monetize characters that sit idle
IP owners and creators can create new value by loading the characters they own into NoLang as avatars for video creation. NoLang currently ships with more than 100 avatars: human avatars suited to business settings, characters aimed at PR and communications, and avatars that reproduce realistic human movement through lip sync.
What loading your character into NoLang gives you
A company character can be registered as an avatar that any NoLang user can select. As the character takes the role of narrator across a large number of videos, awareness of it grows and its fan base widens.
Flexible revenue models
Mavericks proposes monetization terms that fit the IP holder’s intentions and strategy, including buying the rights to a character outright and licensing usage rights to a specific company through NoLang. The company aims to collaborate with a wide range of partners, from individual creators to businesses that already develop and operate micro IP.
For companies: instant video from your own IP, plus stock avatars
Companies can use avatars effectively in their videos through this program whether or not they own a character. Alongside the stock avatars already built into NoLang, a company can have an AI avatar of its own character developed from still-image material such as illustrations or product photos, then use it in NoLang video production immediately.
Turn existing company IP into an AI avatar
A company that already has a mascot character or official illustrations can have an AI avatar built from that material for use in NoLang. Once it exists, anyone can produce product explainer videos, company introduction videos for job applicants, internal newsletter videos and more, at low cost and in volume, regardless of video production skill.
Free use of a library of more than 100 stock avatars
Companies without a character of their own can still pick one that matches their brand image and target audience from the library of more than 100 avatars built into NoLang, and use it freely in their videos. That means approachable, persuasive video communication with zero upfront investment in character development.
What comes next
Through NoLang, Mavericks, Inc. aims to build an ecosystem that maximizes the value of IP while protecting the rights of creators. The company will continue to improve how expressive its avatars are and to strengthen integration features, contributing to social infrastructure that lets any company or individual get past the barrier to publishing information and put their creativity to work.
