Mavericks, Inc. (Minato City, Tokyo; CEO: Shota Okuno) has released a major update to its video generation AI service NoLang, under the name “NoLang 3.0.” The update adds generation and editing of vertical short videos for TikTok and Instagram, plus a new mode that explains any PDF document in one minute. Together, these features support video marketing and knowledge sharing at companies.
NoLang 3.0 released — a new option for producing marketing videos
NoLang is an AI platform that turns any content — PDF documents, web pages, social media posts — into video. Since the service launched in July 2024, it has passed 100,000 users, and the Business plan introduced this year is already in use at more than 40 companies.
To support customers from marketing strategy through to production, Mavericks has launched “NoLang with WEDO” (in Japanese) in partnership with Daiko WEDO Inc. of the Hakuhodo DY Group. Live streaming company 17LIVE Inc. uses NoLang to produce videos in which its mascot character “17 Baby” delivers corporate messages, conveying the brand image effectively (case study details, in Japanese).
With the update to NoLang 3.0, users can now generate, edit, and download vertical short videos optimized for TikTok and Instagram in a single flow. A new mode also explains any PDF document in one minute. The options for producing 30- to 60-second videos have expanded considerably, making corporate video marketing both more effective and more efficient.
Short videos generated in five seconds, cutting lead time from production to distribution
NoLang 3.0 can generate, edit, and download vertical short videos based on documents or web pages. Generated videos are fully editable: the wording and line breaks of text overlays, the fonts, and the background animation can all be customized. Once edited, the video can be downloaded and published quickly to TikTok, Instagram, and other video platforms (video examples, in Japanese).
Companies can also use their own Live2D avatar (VTuber model) to run promotions that match their brand image.
In recruiting, short videos that convey a company’s appeal and culture can be produced easily, improving reach among younger audiences. In promotion, videos that present product and service features visually can be made in a short time, which can significantly improve marketing efficiency.
Even with limited production budgets or staff, companies can produce high-quality video content in-house at lower cost instead of relying on outside vendors, which widens their marketing options.
A new feature that explains a PDF in one minute, conveying the key points of complex documents
The new “one-minute summary” mode in NoLang 3.0 automatically extracts the key points of a PDF document, presents only the important pages, and generates a one-minute video with narration. It works with any content, including service overview decks, financial results materials, and lecture-style internal training documents.
This PDF-to-video feature can also generate long videos of 15 minutes or more. Companies can turn IR materials into video to strengthen investor communications, or convert complex product manuals into clear explanatory videos to improve customer support.
About the NoLang Business plan
This year Mavericks began offering “NoLang for Business,” a plan built specifically for companies. Many companies are already producing video in-house for sales, internal training, PR, and other purposes. The Business plan includes the following:
- Upload of the company’s own avatars (Live2D) and video assets
- Management of users and video generation logs, and sharing of company assets
