NoLang, the first AI video generation service developed in Japan, is an AI platform that turns any content into video — PowerPoint decks, PDFs, web pages, and scripts written for social media posts. Since the service launched in July 2024, it has grown into one of the fastest-growing generative AI services in Japan, with more than 130,000 users and over 50 corporate customers.
NoLang has now been updated to “NoLang 4.0.” In addition to turning text, PDF, and PowerPoint files into video, the release adds the following capabilities.
- Upload an audio file (a radio program, a podcast, or a recording) and NoLang generates video content with images and an avatar.
- Upload a source video file and NoLang adds subtitles automatically and inserts images and an avatar that match the content.
A Template feature was also added, so anyone can produce a polished video.
Details of the campaign accompanying the release are available here (in Japanese).
More than 100 new avatars and a new speech synthesis model for expressive voices
NoLang adds more than 100 Live2D avatars, ranging from business styles to character designs, and introduces realistic 3D AI avatars for the first time. A state-of-the-art speech synthesis model delivers expressive narration, including whispering and varied intonation. The extra credits previously required to upload PSD and Live2D files are now free, which makes branding with an original character easier.

Avatars can now also show emotion according to the scene.
-
Avatars express emotion automatically, matching what they are saying
Laughing, crying, getting angry — any emotion can be expressed in the video.
-
Sound effects that suit the video are inserted automatically, so videos that hold the viewer’s attention take less work to create
Please give it a try.
The NoLang API for video generation is now publicly available
Mavericks has started offering the NoLang API, which embeds video generation into external services and a company’s own SaaS products.
Documents have long been the main way to share information, but that format is shifting toward video. Video will be indispensable for communicating with Generation Z.
The NoLang API helps solve problems such as the following.
-
Producing videos in-house with AI cuts outsourcing costs from several hundred thousand yen or more down to the level of a few thousand yen
-
Company content is easy to distribute across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
The value of every document and asset is revived and maximized
-
Internal documents that are hard to get read become video, which raises engagement
Industry solutions built on the NoLang API
The NoLang API serves a wide range of industries and generates video content easily from text, documents, audio, and video. Some solutions by industry are described below. Videos are generated automatically in the form best suited to the purpose and the audience.
Manufacturing and heavy industry
- Upload a PDF manual describing how to operate equipment and create multilingual training videos.
- The resulting videos work across departments, from passing technical skills on to younger staff to sharing conditions on site.
Finance, IR, and corporate
- Produce video content from financial results materials and IR information at scale. It can be used for any PR activity, from reaching individual investors in Japan to disclosing information to institutional investors overseas.
- Creating PR videos from financial statements featuring 3D avatars of company executives supports the preparation of shareholder meetings that comply with the Companies Act.
Travel, tourism, and food service
- Automatically generating fresh English-language video assets each day through the API differentiates inbound marketing from competitors.
- Enter the timeline of an actual experience tour and video content promoting the tour is generated on the spot.
Substantially expanded English-language features
- Every feature offered in Japanese is now available in English as well, which makes video production straightforward in either language. Publishing the same content in multiple languages is far easier as a result.
- More languages are planned.
About the NoLang Business plan

- Unlimited video generation
- A safe design that accounts for copyright and the protection of training data, plus a security policy that meets the standards of listed companies
- Management of users and video generation logs, and internal asset sharing
Mavericks also handles custom development of original avatars and proprietary voices, API integration with external systems, and the addition of proprietary algorithms on request.
The official website has been redesigned and now carries video examples, case studies, and pricing information. Details are available at the URL below (in Japanese).
