Key takeaways

  1. Mavericks, Inc. has added AI Real Avatar and Voice clone to the video generation AI NoLang, reproducing an executive's face, voice and way of speaking.
  2. Business videos that used to require the executive on camera, such as IR, recruiting and internal newsletters, can now be produced without any of their time.
  3. A short filming session creates the avatar; after that, staff enter text or upload documents and NoLang generates high-quality videos at volume.
  4. One earnings deck can become several videos tuned for retail, institutional and overseas investors, including an English commentary released on announcement day.

Mavericks, Inc., the Tokyo-based company behind the Japanese video generation AI product NoLang, has added an AI Real Avatar feature and a Voice clone feature to NoLang. Both reproduce an executive’s appearance and voice faithfully, so a company can produce videos featuring its executives without any time from the executives themselves. Teams can now publish IR videos on the same day disclosure is required, send message videos to recruiting candidates, and distribute a weekly internal newsletter in video form, strengthening external communication and internal engagement alike.

An executive DX solution that frees leaders from the constraints of time and place

NoLang generates a video in as little as a few seconds from text, PDF or PPTX documents, a website URL, or an image, audio or video file. Mavericks says it is the first video generation AI service of its kind in Japan. Since its release in July 2024, NoLang has passed 150,000 registered users and is in use at more than 60 companies, making it one of the largest generative AI products to come out of Japan (as of December 2025).

Video has drawn renewed attention in corporate communication. According to one survey1, companies whose leaders deliver messages by video report employee engagement roughly 33% higher than companies that do not, along with roughly 10 points more agreement with company goals and sense of belonging. Video messages from leadership have become essential to building a strong organization. For executives with crowded schedules, however, setting aside time for filming and keeping up a steady cadence of video messages is not easy.

That is why Mavericks has added the AI Real Avatar feature and the Voice clone feature, which faithfully reproduce an executive’s appearance and voice, to NoLang, and is rolling out a solution that produces videos featuring an executive without any of the executive’s own time. A staff member simply enters text or uploads documents and selects the executive’s avatar and voice; NoLang then generates a high-quality video that appears to feature the executive in person, with no filming session. Companies can release time-sensitive IR information as several videos tailored to different types of investors, and can distribute a weekly internal newsletter as video at high frequency.

Use case 1: IR and shareholder meetings — deliver the right message to each type of investor, in the CEO’s own words

At earnings announcements, companies have been limited to publishing a single set of materials or a single video for every investor. With NoLang, one earnings presentation deck (a PDF or PPTX file) can be turned into several videos in a few minutes, each optimized in content and tone for a different type of investor.

For retail investors: AI breaks down difficult technical terms and produces a summary video of under three minutes that is easy to watch on a phone. An approachable delivery explains the outlook for the business in plain language.

For institutional investors: a video covering detailed data such as financial statements and KPI trends. It explains the soundness of the strategy in a logical, substantial tone to build trust.

For overseas investors: an English earnings commentary video generated automatically from the Japanese earnings deck, or from an English one. This removes the lag caused by translation and subtitling work, so a company can reach global capital markets in the CEO’s own voice, in English, on the day of the announcement.

Where cost and time once allowed for only one video, NoLang changes the equation and improves both the quality and the volume of dialogue with every kind of investor.

Use case 2: Organizational development and internal newsletters — share an executive’s philosophy and intent on video

As remote work spreads and companies open sites in other regions and other countries, an executive’s philosophy and intent become harder to convey to employees on the front line. NoLang addresses that problem. Messages from the CEO, which employees previously heard only at a quarterly all-hands meeting, can be distributed as a weekly or daily video internal newsletter.

A staff member types in the lines the executive is to deliver — this week’s management topics, or a message of praise for employees who did outstanding work — and the content becomes a video ready to send internally right away. Unlike a text-only newsletter, an avatar conveys facial expression and vocal inflection, so the executive’s intent and energy come through more clearly. That contributes to higher engagement across the organization and to the productivity of the company as a whole.

Use case 3: Recruiting and PR — let leadership approach candidates directly

Among the information job seekers want, company culture ranks second at 61.9%, behind only the actual content of the work at 82.3%2, making it a decisive factor in choosing an employer. With NoLang, companies can use scout emails and job postings to deliver videos in which the executives who best embody that culture describe what makes the company worth joining.

Scout emails are a particularly good fit. It is straightforward to generate a per-candidate video that opens with a message written for that candidate alone, referring to their name and their industry background. Once a base video exists, rewriting the text of the opening greeting produces a personal message video from the CEO for each candidate in a matter of tens of seconds. A video in which the head of the company speaks directly, rather than a familiar form letter, creates a sense of occasion that captures the attention of strong candidates. Publishing videos in which the CEO tells the founding story or describes hard times early in the selection process also increases applications from people who fit the culture, maximizing recruiting efficiency.

Looking ahead

Through NoLang, Mavericks is building an environment in which executives are freed from the work of communicating and can concentrate their limited resources on decision-making and dialogue. The company is also looking at expanding interactive features, such as a real avatar that answers questions from stakeholders automatically, going beyond one-way communication toward a next generation of hybrid management in which people and AI create together.
