Mavericks, Inc., the company behind NoLang, the AI video generation service developed in Japan, has announced that more than 60 companies have now adopted a NoLang Business plan. In roughly one year since its official release, NoLang has been chosen by organizations across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, finance and IR, IT, education, and local government, as a way to make video a practical part of business communication.
How 60 companies use NoLang, and why it matters
Here are some of the main ways the 60 companies that have adopted NoLang put it to work.
Training and internal education: automating the handover of knowledge and closing gaps in education
NoLang makes it easy to produce internal training and education videos: operating manuals for production equipment and internal systems, safety and food hygiene training, videos on work rules and compliance, and explainers on specialist knowledge in medicine, education, and IT.

Uploading an existing PDF or PowerPoint file is enough for the AI to generate a high-quality video from it right away. That removes much of what training video production used to cost: several hundred thousand yen per video, and the weeks between the start of production and delivery. It also turns valuable know-how that would otherwise stay with a single person into a video asset the organization keeps. Knowledge held inside the company becomes visible as video and accumulates as a permanent asset.
IR: clearer disclosure with AI, and more transparency in the capital markets
NoLang also supports the IR activities of listed companies. Explainer videos on financial results materials, which tend to be technical and hard to follow, and multilingual messages from management, which have to go out quickly, can both be generated automatically.
Upload a set of financial results materials and NoLang turns them into an easy-to-follow explainer presented by an AI avatar. It also supports the creation of a “real AI avatar” that closely resembles a busy executive, together with AI voice. Companies can then publish timely disclosure in Japanese, English, and other languages on the day results are announced, with no filming time required from executives and no scheduling to coordinate.
Dialogue with investors has become more important for listed companies in recent years, driven in part by rule changes at the Tokyo Stock Exchange. NoLang answers that need with a new option, video production by generative AI, and in doing so contributes to a more active and more transparent capital market.
Marketing and PR: automating the communication that gives a company its face
NoLang handles the PR videos that marketing teams need day to day, such as brisk product introductions for TikTok and YouTube Shorts. It can also summarize long know-how articles or expert interviews published on an owned media site into explainer videos. Companies can even have their own official character (IP) narrate a new service or speak about corporate philosophy.
Alongside more than 100 stock avatars, NoLang lets companies bring their own Live2D or PSD avatars (IP) straight into a video, which comparable services do not offer. That overturns the idea that AI-generated video is impersonal, and lets a company build its brand around the character that represents it. Small and midsize businesses, local governments, and sole proprietors, for whom cost used to be the barrier, can now produce vertical video suited to social media from text or a web article at low cost. This narrows the gap in communication capability between organizations and creates more opportunities for a wider range of companies to have their strengths and services heard.
NoLang is used in many other industries as well. Some examples did not fit into this release, so please feel free to get in touch.
The shared foundation for business use behind these 60 companies: safety and governance
What supports training, IR, and marketing use across more than 60 companies in diverse industries is the pair of requirements that business use cannot do without: safety in terms of compliance, and governance in terms of administrative controls.
Safety: a copyright-clear design
So that companies can use videos made with NoLang in PR and marketing without concern, NoLang provides only generation features designed with copyright in mind for business use. The images, audio, background music, and backgrounds used in a video consist of royalty-free material and AI-generated content that raise no copyright issues.
Governance: log management
Internal controls are another important issue when an organization rolls out AI. The NoLang Business plan supports log management for editing history and downloads of the videos created. This gives companies an environment in which AI video generation can be rolled out company-wide while meeting strict compliance standards and security policies.
The plan
Business customers can sign up for the unlimited plan. The unlimited plan1 has three characteristics that make video a practical part of day-to-day business.
1. Unlimited video creation
Videos for training, sales, PR, and every other business situation can be created with no limit on the number produced2. Videos that were previously held back by cost or resource constraints can now be made as often as needed.
2. AI image generation and avatar videos
NoLang can generate original images with AI and produce videos that include avatars. That covers a range of needs, from training videos that require no one to appear on camera to sales material videos that do not depend on a particular person.
3. Freely reassign accounts
Accounts can be reassigned freely to match staff changes or project-based use. This supports flexible operation across departments and teams by multiple people.
Looking ahead
Mavericks, Inc. will continue to improve the service using the insight and feedback gathered from the diverse industries represented by these 60 business customers. The company aims to establish AI video generation as a part of social infrastructure, and to contribute to digital transformation and productivity at companies as well as to Japan’s international competitiveness in the age of generative AI.
