Mavericks, Inc., the company behind NoLang, one of the largest video generation AI services in Japan1, has released an Instagram integration that posts videos generated in NoLang directly to Instagram.
With this feature, everything from AI video generation to posting an Instagram Reel and setting its visibility happens inside NoLang. It works with both business and creator accounts, so companies can run information and marketing activities on Instagram without specialized video production skills or outsourcing budgets, which cuts both production cost and operating workload.
Instagram has 66 million users in Japan, and video operations in the era of Reels
Instagram has grown to around 66 million monthly active users in Japan, placing it alongside LINE and YouTube among the country’s main social platforms2. According to a survey by the Institute for Information and Communications Policy of Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, 48.5% of people across all age groups use it, rising to 78.6% among people in their twenties, so it has become part of everyday life, especially for younger users3. Usage is spread across genders, at 54.8% women and 42.3% men. Once treated as a channel for Generation Z, it is now a core channel for brand messaging and for designing the path to purchase.
The clearest sign of that shift is the rapid growth of Reels, the vertical short-form video format. In its quarterly earnings announcements for 2024, Meta reported that Reels had come to account for about 50% of the time people spend in the Instagram app, which means user behavior itself is moving from still images toward short video4. For companies, the main battleground on Instagram is clearly moving to Reels as well.
Publishing video on Instagram continuously is difficult, however. In a survey of 2,134 people in charge of corporate social media, about half named a shortage of internal resources as their biggest challenge5. Outsourcing a single short video, including planning, shooting and editing, typically costs from 10,000 to more than 100,000 yen, and for advertising use the range runs from roughly 80,000 to 300,000 yen. Hiring an agency to run the account costs another 50,000 to 300,000 yen per month6. Companies have to both produce videos and keep posting and managing them, and that double barrier of production cost and operating workload stops many of them.
To solve it, NoLang today released the Instagram integration, which allows direct posting to Instagram. Automatic video generation and Reel posting now happen on a single platform, which cuts production cost and operating workload at the same time. Small and midsize companies and sole proprietors who cannot fund specialized video production can now run information and marketing activities on Instagram.
Generation to Instagram posting in one stop
The NoLang Instagram integration posts a video generated in NoLang directly to Instagram without leaving the screen. Until now, posting a generated video to Instagram meant downloading the file, transferring it to a smartphone, and uploading it again from the Instagram app. That whole sequence now finishes inside NoLang.

NoLang also offers a wide range of templates, from 9:16 vertical short videos suited to Instagram Reels through to business formats. Replacing the text and assets is enough to finish a vertical short video for Instagram quickly, with no specialist knowledge of video production. A video made this way can be posted to Instagram as a Reel from the NoLang screen, so the sequence from choosing a template to generating the video and publishing it runs end to end without switching tools.
Four ways to use Instagram with NoLang
The NoLang Instagram integration draws on Instagram’s visual appeal and engagement, and it fits a variety of business situations.
The first is brand and product videos. Instagram is strong at conveying a visual world view, and Reels is the leading format, accounting for about half of the time spent in the app. With NoLang templates, a high-quality vertical Reel that matches the brand image can be finished quickly without specialized video production skills. Before-and-after shots of a product, scenes showing it in use, and brand stories told as video are all easy to produce.
The second is how-to and explanatory content. Instagram users in Japan are known to use hashtag search about three times as often as the global average7. NoLang generates a video that summarizes a web page or a PDF document from the URL or file alone, so industry know-how and product instructions can be turned into video quickly. Posting those explainer videos with suitable hashtags brings a steady stream of visitors from search.
The third is same-day news and trend videos. Combined with the NoLang feature that generates video from a URL, breaking news and trending topics can be turned into Reels quickly, reaching a wide audience through the Instagram recommendation algorithm. Speed and reach come together without specialized video production skills.
The fourth is multilingual content. NoLang supports 18 languages, so the same content can be generated in several languages and posted to Instagram, reaching an audience of roughly 2 billion Instagram users worldwide. That opens up communication beyond Japan, including promotions aimed at inbound visitors.
How to use the Instagram integration
The Instagram integration is available on the NoLang Premium plan and Business plan, and videos are posted as follows.
- Select the social media linking button on the screen, choose Instagram as the upload destination, and link a business or creator account. This linking is required only the first time. Once it is done, the account information is kept automatically and there is no need to link again.
- Enter the caption, cover image and visibility settings, then click the Upload button to complete the post.
Everything from generating the video to posting it happens on the NoLang screen, so there is no moving back and forth between tools, and a Reel reaches Instagram in a short time.
What comes next
Starting with this Instagram integration, Mavericks plans to keep strengthening the features that connect video production and distribution. Work planned next includes analysis of post performance and integration with engagement data, so that the results of distribution become visible.
NoLang continues to develop beyond video generation into a platform that supports the whole path from content planning through distribution and day-to-day operation. As infrastructure for the full cycle of video use, from production to distribution and measurement, it will help companies make video marketing more efficient and more effective.
